TNT Dress

I have been working on a dress sloper for a few months. Life and work has been hectic around here and I have not had much time for sewing. Anyway in previous post I wrote about working on a dress and I had some problems fitting the back. Eventually I decide to try a Vintage pattern in my stash and BINGO I was able to finally get a pretty decent fit.

Project Details:

Pattern: McCalls 7815- Vintage Pattern- 1965

Pattern Sizing: 16- Bust 36.

Description: Three-panel, lightly fitted and flared dress. Sleeveless dress has lightly scooped interfaced neckline, center back zipper, French darts at the front.

Did it look like the pattern envelope once you were done sewing it? I think it's identical!

Fabric: Floral Cotton from my stash

Underlining: cotton batiste

Where the instructions easy to follow? I did not read the pattern instructions, the pattern was only 3-pieces. I did use Vogue Vintage Sewing as reference

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the simplicity…
