Simplicity 4402- Cape

I got the idea to sew this cape from Toy, I downloaded the  pattern and after watching the video and reading the instructions I decided I wanted something very basic and simple. I bought the fabric from Fabric Mart 2-years ago, it's a cotton flannel, charcoal grey. I bought 3-4 yds. It washes beautifuly and need very little ironing. The pattern is two pieces, front and back. Very basic sewing until I decided that the cape should have a lining. I am not happy with the way it drapes at the bottom, so I'm going to remove the stiches from the hem and re-hem the lining and fabric separetely.

I like your cape and after reading Toya's posts, pulled out 2 cape patterns in the hopes of making one. The Loft has a gorgeous leather trim cape... http://www.loft.com/loft.
