Simplicity 7084 & Donna Karan Jacket Update

Simplicity 7084
I have an event to attend on Saturday and I wanted a simple blouse. This pattern has been in my collection for a long time.

Below is the line drawing of the pattern.

I am making view-C, the one with the bow tied at the shoulder. I made the necessary adjustments and made a muslin. I need to tweak the fit a bit and the blouse should be finish before the weekend. Hopefully, the pain from the bulging disc in my neck will improve and allow me to sew. I will rest the next 24-hour and add heat and take an anti-inflammatory.
Also, I decided to join Faye starting at the top challenge from April 1 to April 15. My plan is to use the same pattern to make a few blouses.

Donna Karan Jacket Update-
I worked on the muslin for the jacket last week. The major adjustment on the jacket was to add width to the front. The method I use to achieved that was one that I learned when I attended Connie Crawford class in 2010. I hand basted the seam lines on the muslin before hand sewing the jacket together.
I cut the pieces for the jacket one week ago. I need to hand baste and fit. See the pic below
