Simplicity Sew Simple 1639

Earlier today I read Cennetta's post regarding her absent blogging and sewing  mojo; after reading the comments I forced my blogging mojo out from its hiding place. I sewed this blouse two weeks ago; the second blouse is almost done and I will be sewing two blouses for my DD.

Here is the review

Pattern Description:
Simplicity Sew Simple loose fitting blouse.

Pattern Sizing:
6-18. I used the size 6

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I did not read the instructions.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
No dislikes. I like that it an easy pattern to sew

Fabric Used:
Silky Polyester from my stash and polyester organza to underline the neck facing..

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None. A word of caution- the pattern has 8.5-inches of ease above your body measurements.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I will sew it again and again. And I do recommend it.

Hey Alethia,
Beautiful blouse, looks great on you. I've haven't sewn a lot but I'm working on getting my mojo back to the sewing side. Thanks for your inspiration!
