I feel sad because so much handwork went into this quilt. Lesson learned no more UNFINISHED PROJECTS. Make it or trash it. Hubby suggested to cut out more hexagon, half the size of the original hexagon and start another quilt. If I ever find the quilt it will become a wall hanging.

Christmas Quilt Update & Feeling Sad
Remember this post, I worked on the quilt until the beginning of 2013. This quilt is hand sewn. I took the pic below November 2012. At the beginning of 2013 I put the quilt away to give my right hand and shoulder some time to rest. The first hundreds hexagons I cut out by hand. The quilt is sewn like a puzzle, working on the quilt I realize that I could work on individual sections and then attach it to the main quilt. In order to do that the hexagons needed to be precise. Sooo, I bought the Cricut mini, program it and 500 laser cut paper hexagons were cut in less than 30 minutes. All the supplies and fabric for this project were stored in a large tote except the quilt. Today makes one year I cannot find the quilt, I don't know where it is, Last summer I looked everywhere, I did the same last winter and today I came home from work and rip the sewing cave apart. I cannot find it. The quilt is a lot larger than the picture below.

All by hand?? AMAZING! You'll find it when and where you least expect!
It's going to turn up when you least expect it. I'm quite sure it someplace "safe".
Thank You Ladies. I really hope that I will find it soon.
What a beautiful quilt, I hope you find it. It will probably turn up when you're not even looking for it.
You quilt like my mom. I been trying to encourage her to sew some of it on the machine. No can do.
I really sorry you can't find you quilt. And I know it's very frustrating. I hope it turns up soon.
