Hello and What I Did After My Last Post

Gee, It has been a month since I wrote a post. Life sometimes gets in the way, anyway I did have some sewing related fun. So, here it goes:
 1. After posting about my Christmas quilt and feeling a bit depressed, I decide to start a second quilt. Here is the pic below
2.I completed a second top Simplicity Sew Simple 1639. Here is the pic

I met my dear friend Sheila in Brooklyn the end of June and did a fabric run. Here is a peek of the loot

On July 1, I went to the Bronx, New York to visit Ms. Louise; mom #2. Before getting to my final destination I stop at Fordham fabrics. I bought 6 yds of Chambray for $1.50/yd. This fabric is awesome, it washes beautiful. Chambray is a fabric that is classic, and durable.

On July 4th I spent the day relaxing with family. We ate burgers, drank Kool-Aid and watch the soccer game between Columbia and Brazil. My family and I truly enjoy all the world cup games.

On Saturday July 5, I went to A.C. Moore and somehow the next thing I knew I came home, opened the trunk of my car and three large bags of fabrics were in the trunk. Honestly I don’t even remember going to Jo-Ann’s. Anyway this morning I took pics of the loot and I notice that all the fabrics were $2.00 - $1.50/yd. This is strange? Have this happened to you? LOL! Here is a pic of the loot.

Thank you Sheila. I don't know what happened to your comment. Anyway, I will see you at the museum.
