This is the third version of S-1639 made out of silk fabric that has been in my stash for a few years. This one is for my daughter.
I washed the fabric three times in cold water and the fabric bleed each time. In fact the pink bleed onto the white in some areas. I had three yards and I was able to cut the blouse out, t the rest of the fabric went into the trash bin. I wanted to trash all of it, but my daughter love the print so much I kept it. She loves it and that is all that matters.
The front neckline on the pattern had a V-shape neckline. I did not want a V-shape neckline instead I made the neckline round.
The only alteration I made was 1/2 slope shoulder adjustment and added 1-inch to the length.

Hey Omega, yes my DD loves it.
Serenity I did not think of silk scarves. I may go back to the trash bin and take a second look.
Linda, my daughter said the same thing when she choose the fabric.
