Blouse- Take II, Inspired by Pinterest and Karina

In my last post I wrote about Pinterest, Karina and the disaster of sewing one sleeve to the neckline. Here is take II- Butterick 6132, it was finished around June 11 and it was waiting for me to sew the hem by hand. Yes, I could sew the hem by machine, however, I prefer to hand sew the hem.

Earlier this year I did some shopping for fabrics and tulle to make a ballgown for my daughter for a formal dance she attended in May. The fabric warehouse is one of my favorite places to visit because the have large bins of one yard cuts of fabrics for $1.00/yd. I've never paid attention to the bin, because I had no idea what the heck will I do with one yard of fabric? If you go to Karina's vlog you will find out how she uses small cuts of fabrics to create simple and stylish blouses.

Well, here it is. This floral fabric ( one yard 60-inches wide) was in the bin. I bought a total of five one yard pieces to make head scarf or use in a blouse. This is now another TNT added to my collection.
